These mermaids are intended to grace candles but display nicely on a flat surface as you see in the photos.

A note about the mermaid on the right as you are looking at the picture. She actually is propped up at the bottom by the pearls; she slides all the way down to the bottom of the candle. This is my experience with all mermaid Candleclimbers like this one, just the way they were made.

No chips cracks or repairs; one has a black paint spot on the back of her mertail from manufacturing that is under the glaze. Stamped Japan.
