This Starry Eyed Santa mug is Holt Howard at its best, and it’s awfully cute.

Very Atomic Age, very indicative of the period. Santa has eyes that look like atoms, gold polka dots on the fur trim of his hat, a curly curly beard accented with gold. And to make the cuteness meter go off the scales, Santa has a Salvador Dali-like moustache.

No chips cracks or repairs— bottom has some darkening that does not extend into the cup and there are a couple of touch ups on the handle. Stamped Holt Howard 1959.
