The cutest salt and pepper shakers I have ever seen! And now they have their own little snowy forest.

The vignette is contained in an antique Bouillon cup with gold trim— didn’t even know they existed until I came upon them at an estate sale and fell in love.

I first attached the cup to the saucer, then built a base in the cup using repurposed styrofoam. I affixed the snowmen and bottlebrush trees, sculpted snow drifts around the scene and around the saucer, then slathered them with my own sparkly snow, a concoction I make that smoothes, secures and sparkles. Then I showered the snow in ultrafine glitter. The final touch is to top one of the trees with a brick red star.
