This style of Santa mugs and pitcher by Holt Howard is called Merry Whiskers. It is very contemporary and must have been quite avant garde when produced in 1959.

Exceptional condition—this set tends to have have paint loss and there are only a few spots. No chips cracks or repairs. All are stamped Holt Howard 1959.
